The compact construction site assistant – PU 1900

Fast-curing polyurethane special resin for cracks or joints and for bonding construction elements.

If cracks or joints in the screed are discovered on the construction site or if construction elements have to be bonded, a quick and easy solution is needed. Since priming or covering work may only be started after cracks have been sealed on a suitable substrate that is as level and prepared as possible, the properties of the fast-curing, universally applicable KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 1900 are very impressive: in the compact size of 0.5 kg per packaging unit, it fits into every construction site tool box and is therefore immediately ready-to-use.

It is particularly suitable as a time-saving and simple solution to problems:

  • for cracks in the substrate
  • for sealing dummy joints
  • for bonding profiles, metal rails, angles and other construction components
  • as a durable injection in concrete

That’s convincing!

  • very fast-curing material
  • high moisture tolerance
  • short downtimes on the construction site
  • versatile
  • convenient, small packaging units

Simple work preparation and execution

The absorbent substrate, e.g. concrete or cement screed, must first be cleaned of adhesion-reducing components and prepared for further coating. Components A and B are mixed within the practical packaging unit provided. Component B is added to component A in the sufficiently large spray bottle and then shaken vigorously. The filling of the crack with the mixed material is carried out generously and completely, so that the low-viscosity resin can penetrate well into the pores, cracks and capillaries.

For bigger joints, KLB-Mischsand 5/1, quartz sand 0.1/0.3 mm or quartz sand 0.3/0.8 mm can optionally be added to the mixture. When mixed with KLB-Mischsand 1, PU 1900 can also be used as a rapid repair mortar for small areas.

Excess material can be easily removed afterwards.

Effectiveness and efficiency with one product

After a short waiting time of 25 – 30 minutes after application, the product is completely cured. The result is a load-bearing bond with good adhesion. Due to the short time required, the work schedule can be adhered to without any delays on site.

KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 1900 is a practical helper that should not be missing from any construction site vehicle or tool box. The universal properties of this special resin accelerate the preparation of coatings in many situations and thus save working time, nerves and material.
