KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 5000 RX consists of a reactive 2-component polyurethane resin which, after mixing, is applied onto the prepared substrate with a toothed trowel and spread with a roller. This is followed by a scattering with the separately available and special reactive scattering component RX-Abstreukomponente.
Within 20 – 40 minutes after the base coat has hardened and any excess sand has been removed, the top sealer can already be applied. Depending on the surrounding temperature, there is granted accessibility of the surfaces after only 2 – 6 hours and they can be fully mechanically or chemically loaded again.

- Arcades, balconies, terraces and loggias
- Commercially and industrially used traffic, storage or production surfaces in the interior or exterior
- Cold storage and deep-freezing rooms
- Food markets and sales areas
*provided that no requirements for surface protection (OS systems) have to be met.
No yellowing of the coating occurs when exposed to UV light. Due to its largly good light stability, it is very well suited for outdoor use, e.g. on pergolas, balconies, terraces and loggias.
Its slip-resistance, jointless design and moisture stability makes this coating ideally suited for use in the food industry, fulfilling all requirements in terms of hygiene, safety and durability. It is certified as suitable for use in foodstuffs according to § 31 para 1 of the German Food and Feed Code (German law LFGB).
The coating is resistant to different chemicals, such as to water, saline solutions, diluted acids and bases, petrol but also to glycol. If there are special requirements, please contact us for a consultation.
