The challenge

Weathered exterior surfaces require high-quality synthetic resins as they are exposed to constantly changing conditions and stresses: weather influences, sun and rain, UV light, strong temperature fluctuations, soiling, but also mechanical loads imposed when being walked on or driven over.

In general, the material intended for outdoor use must be designed in a way that it can withstand such requirements. It is particularly important for the products to retain their technical properties, and that they do not change or if so, only very slightly: yellowing and loss of gloss should be largely avoided. Coatings in such areas must be easy to apply and cure quickly.

The solution

For outdoor areas, we offer flooring systems that have been in use and proven themselves many times over the years. Weather-resistant coverings are made of high-quality binding agent systems that are capable of dealing with the elements.

Depending on the product combination, our systems are resistant to light and yellowing which enables them to keep their colour. They are largely resistant to chemicals or extreme changes in temperature, including frost. In order to avoid being affected by severe weather conditions during installation, the products are rapid-setting and can be put back into use very quickly.
