Decorative terrace with stone carpet
Light-resistant, individually configurable decorative quartz pebble coating for outdoor areas.
Assignment and requirements
For redesigning the terrace of a residential building, a particularly decorative and visually appealing surface was required that would be resistant to all weather conditions, especially to constant UV exposure.
Particularities and challenges
High-quality formulated polyurethane resins that withstand environmental influences become increasingly necessary in outdoor areas. To visually break up the surface, different combinations of coloured quartz pebbles were used. A wind rose was to be incorporated into the covering as decorative highlight.
The solution
Our System L3 KLB DECOR STONE-CARPET PU Outdoor is light-resistant and extremely decorative. An interesting look could be created by the application to already set rails. As a special eye-catcher, the wind rose was worked into the surface with black and white decorative pebbles. Due to its polyurethane resin base, the system is highly light-stable and retains its beautiful appearance over a long period of time.
