System K7 KLB PARKING EP OS 8 Flex is a tested, robust and water vapour-permeable OS 8 coating system, which fulfils the requirements of the TR maintenance directive. With its special static crack-bridging capability of 0.6 mm (at -10 °C), the elastic intermediate layer KLB-SYSTEM EPOXID EP 5590 enables use on surfaces that are exposed to high mechanical loads, e.g. car parks.
KLB-SYSTEM EPOXID EP 5590 is the “centrepiece” of the system and a flexibilised, diffusible 2-component epoxy resin coating. When scattered with quartz sand KLB-Quarzsand 0.3/0.8 mm within the system, it acts as important wear layer together with the primer EP 5520 and the top sealer EP 5570.

Flexibility in perfection
The flexibilised 2-component epoxy resin EP 5590 ensures the longevity of your surface protection coating on areas with high mechanical stress.
Static crack-bridging of class A3
EP 5590 is statically crack-bridging (at -10 °C) 0,6 mm and protects the building structure effectively against penetrating chemical substances, etc. even under intensive load.
Water vapour permeability of Class II
With its water vapour-diffusible properties, EP 5590 can be used on floor slabs in contact with the ground or concrete substrates with increased moisture, both indoors and outdoors.
Tested quality
As part of K7, it has been tested as surface protection system; thus EP 5590 helps to fulfil the special requirements of OS 8.

With System K7 KLB PARKING EP OS 8 Flex, you benefit from a proven and robust surface protection that meets all requirements that are posed by the TR maintenance directive. The OS 8 system contains a flexibilised epoxy-based intermediate layer. Typical areas of application for the static crack-bridging OS 8 Flex system are slopes, ascents and descents or adjacent floor slabs. System K7 prevents the formation of cracks in the substrate and the penetration of water or chemicals, thus ensuring a high level of safety for the building structure. The system is water vapour-permeable and can be used on floor slabs in contact with the ground or on concrete substrates with increased moisture, both in interior and exterior areas.
