Assignment and requirements
This exclusive residential building required a high-quality, seamless floor construction that would run consistently through all rooms from the ground floor to the upper floor.
In addition to a design-oriented look, the focus was also on suitability for everyday use in sensitive areas such as bathrooms and wet rooms.
Particularities and challenges
The seamless design of the floor without joints required precise detailed planning – from wall extensions to transitions at load-bearing columns and large-format glass floor panels.
In addition, the system had to meet additional requirements in wet rooms, such as waterproofing and slip resistance, without compromising the uniform appearance.
The solution
A low-emission, elastic coating system with colour-stable sealing was used, which meets both design and functional requirements. A supplementary elastic intermediate layer with PU 426 in wet areas seals the substrate and thus provides reliable protection against moisture.
The result is a consistent, design-oriented flooring concept with a high level of comfort and technical performance.

The object shown has a special build-up. The installation technique and product composition for this flooring was developed and implemented by our customer.
