Assignment and requirements
A decorative flooring should become a unique eye-catcher at property services company Cushman & Wakefield.
The entire office and break area was to benefit from a harmonious visual upgrade, while also improving the overall work atmosphere.
Particularities and challenges
This is achieved in part through an elastic, impact sound-absorbing interlayer that is comfortable to walk on and gentle on the joints.
The combination of impact sound insulation and decorative wipe-look coating strikes thes perfect balance between functionality and design.
The solution
The liquid-applied impact sound insulation layer KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 430 Silent contributes to pleasant room acoustics, especially in such large, open spaces. The coating PU 410 has been applied in a wiping technique using two different colours to give the office its unique character.
System G9 KLB DECOR LOW-VOC PU Silent Sealed stands out for its low-emission formulation and meets the high requirements of the “Indoor Air Comfort Gold” label.
This certification confirms its minimal VOC emissions, helping to improve indoor air quality – an essential factor in ensuring a healthy work environment in offices.
