KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 9039

The transparent 2-component PU binding agent KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 9039 is a real allrounder for the production of high-quality, decorative stone carpets – both inside and outside. With the newly developed product, we now have a solution that optimally combines the best of PU 9010 for outdoor areas and PU 9030 for interior applications.

Ease of processing

Due to the low stickiness of the binder, the quartz pebble mixture can be quickly spread over the surface, which can then be excellently smoothed. The use of smoothing aids (solvents) can be reduced to a minimum, which allows the quartz grains to be better incorporated and eliminates the need for a later impregnation of the covering.

The special formulation of PU 9039 makes it resistant to moisture and foaming – which is a big plus, as the stone carpet is rainproof after just one hour.

Performance

The almost colourless binder is resistant to UV, weather and stains. Thus, even light-coloured stone carpets retain their original colour. Other external influences such as temperature fluctuations, rainfall or frost cannot harm the product once it has cured.

The use of PU 9039 fulfils the requirements for healthy indoor and outdoor construction. The innovative, solvent-free and low-odour formulation enables safe application, e.g. in living rooms, offices or lounges and is certified according to EUROFINS “Indoor Air Comfort Gold“.

Design

With the transparent special binding agent PU 9039, highly decorative, glossy quartz or marble pebble coverings can be produced. Wall coverings? Plinths? Risers? No problem! It’s easy to do with the addition of suspending agent KLB-Stellmittel 5 FT. Surfaces made with PU 9039 are characterised by their durability and impact resistance.

The excellent resistance to chemicals, saline solutions, diluted acids and alkalis or mineral oils as well as the low stain susceptibility to discolouring substances underline the advantages of the product in its area of application.
