We hold true to the motto “there’s always room for improvement” by having once again put our electrically conductive coating KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 413 EL+ to the test by our R&D experts and further developing its property profile.

The result is a higher-performance product that is optimally tailored to your requirements. While maintaining the good electrical conductivity, the viscosity has been reduced and the flow behaviour improved. To meet the increasing demands for an aesthetically pleasing appearance, the colouring has been optimised to achieve bright and colourful surfaces.

Antistatic or dissipative requirements can be particularly well met by the product when used for the following applications where smooth processes and a safe working environment are crucial:

  • in work areas and laboratories with highly sensitive electronic assemblies, such as in server rooms
  • in the manufacture of electronic components and when handling explosive substances, e.g. solvents, fuel or dust

Fine-tuned product components in one system

In the electronics industry for example, KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU 413 EL+ can be used in combination with the top sealer KLB-SYSTEM POLYURETHAN PU PU 813 EL+/ESD within the system F6 KLB CONDUCTIVE LOW-VOC PU ESD Elastic to fulfil current ESD requirements. In addition, the system has good resistance to medium loads in industrial production or storage facilities.

The known and proven technical properties remain unchanged in the new formula.

The product’s viscoplasticity offers particular advantages and more safety when coating deformable substrates such as mastic asphalt, chipboard or metal panels. With a good resistance to chemicals, the building resin is also suitable for chemically sensitive areas. Due to its low emissions, it has been certified with the Eurofins label “Indoor Air Comfort Gold” and can be set to slip-resistance grade R9 or R10.
