KLB Kötz­tal La­cke + Be­schich­tun­gen GmbH inaugurated their new training and administrative building at the company headquarters in Ichenhausen with a 2-day opening ceremony. On Friday, 8 July 2016, the doors of the 2,800 square metre building opened for the first time to welcome invited guests.

District Administrator Hubert Hafner, Member of the State Parliament Alfred Sauter (MdL) and the Mayors of Ichenhausen, Robert Strobel, and Markt Waldstetten, Michael Kusch, gave their greetings during the official opening party. Highlights of this festive evening were the symbolic handing over of the keys by the architectural office Schuster engineering GmbH as well as the blessing of the new building by Father Jonas Schreyer from the parish of Ichenhausen.

On Saturday, 9 July 2016 followed an “open house day” for the public who had been given the opportunity to inform themselves about the company and especially about the new building in the Günztal. More than 1,200 visitors explored the new premises during a tour of the building and followed very attentively the product demonstrations performed in the technical centre. Even the children had fun with artistic balloon figures and magic tricks.

The catering in bright sunshine on the company’s own terrace with 500 square metres of pond made the day a great success for the visitors.
