Surface protection is a crucial issue in multi-storey or underground car parks, but also on all other traffic surfaces that are accessible to vehicles. How can you extend the useful life of car park buildings and protect them from the many external influences? That’s where a surface protection system comes in. But not all surface protection is the same. In this article, we present different surface protection coating solutions and go into their special features, e.g. the characteristics of an OS 11 coating compared with an OS 8 system.<\/p>\n

What all surface protection systems have in common is<\/strong> that they offer reliable, permanent protection of the underlying building fabric against any chemical or mechanical effects, are impervious to liquids and highly resistant to abrasion or wear. To ensure pedestrian and traffic safety, the systems are available in various slip resistance grades. All coatings \u2013 whether OS 8, OS 11, OS 14 and OS 5b \u2013 are tested and certified in accordance with the current requirements of the TR maintenance directive<\/a>.<\/p>\n
